Born in Canada , Theresa Kaat is the band’s foreign element. She played piano, violin and sang in choirs as a youth as well as in a junior high band called Dusky Jade. She also developed her talents as a ventriloquist and entertained around the country traveling with youth caravans.

After high school, she devoted her life and time to raising her two children. Then, a few years ago, she met Bob Wolhert and began to sing in a praise band at an area church and soon transferred her energies to making music. Bob & Theresa married and became the Kaat-Wohlerts. She was the singer for Living Water Praise Band and later Sola Fide doing services and concerts around the Kansas City area.

Bob and Theresa teamed up with Jim Mathis in 2004 to become the creative force behind Sky Blue. Theresa is the lead singer and plays bass with Sky Blue.
